WebNov 30, 2005 · The only Encore barrel I see on TCs sight that matches a Katahdin is 20 ported inches. My guess is that it will be shooting out lots of unburned powder if loaded to hunting charges. Pellets with a hot primer may burn most of it, but loose powder most likely will not in that short a barrel.
