WebJan 31, 2003 · The Boomerang was probably my favorite flat ride of all time. I never did the one at Bertrands Island but I am adding a link you to Genes place for a little idea of the ride. The one I remember so much is the one at Rye Playland. I think it was 5 heavily padded Tubs and they were heavily padded. The Boomerang consists of a single train with seven cars, capable of carrying 28 passengers. The ride begins when the train is pulled backwards from the station and up the first lift hill by a catchcar.
