WebbI finally got a Zojirushi, but the water tastes like plastic... If you've ever used a new Keurig, it makes the water taste exactly like that. I've already boiled and dispensed four full tanks (16 litres!!) of water through it, and it's still coming out tasting like plastic so strongly that it completely covers up the taste of any tea I try to make. There is a chance the chlorine reacts with the kettle’s rubber or plastic part when heated. However, just because there is chlorine in the water doesn’t mean it must react with the plastic or rubber parts of the kettle, causing it to taste funny.
