It's attached to the steering column then to the shift linkage under the dash. Doesn't sound like a common part as my dealer has sold 2 in 5 years. Picked up a used 2024 bighorn with 30k miles about a month ago and about 2 weeks ago starting having an intermittent problem where after I start the truck some times it has problems shifting out of park. You have to wiggle the gear selector back and forth some times up to 20 seconds to get it to finally shift.
