WebJul 8, 2024 · Using *ngIf with a boolean emission is not ideal since it won't render the element if the value is false.However I see that initially your emission is an object. And since objects are truthy, you could ignore the mapping to boolean and use it directly with the *ngIf.. I'd also recommend to wrap the entire container in the to preserve the DOM.

I thought that simply adding drag to a div element in sidenav would make it work, but I think there is some mix up with the z-index, that i can't figure out.

WebfixedInViewport does set position to fixed. So on it's own it does something.
