WebSep 29, 2024 · One option you can do is while its printing use the babystep feature to move the z axis down while it prints, OR in the slicer, set a negative z offset. start with -0.1mm and see if that helps, looking at your picture, you might need to set it higher, like -0.2mm. cura has this option. i think its called global z-offset. I kept manually turning the Z motor to raise the bed before I turn on the machine, but it still returns to that 2cm mark (though it says on the screen it is at zero). WebMar 5, 2024 · @0scar I completely disconnected the BL Touch, reinstalled the Z limit switch, & installed firmware version Ender3-v4.2.7-Stock-20240307.bin from marlin.crc.id.au. The printer now auto home's as expected.
